Ms. Natia Jaoshvili
Natia Jaoshvili holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Philology from International Black Sea University (IBSU), where she developed a strong academic foundation in linguistics, literature, culture, second language acquisition and language learning psychology. Her particular academic interest lies in psycholinguistics and the relationship between language, mind and communication.
Before pursuing English Philology, Natia studied medicine at Tbilisi State Medical University for two years. This interdisciplinary background has given her a broader perspective on human development, communication and learning.
During her studies at IBSU, Natia was actively involved in the university community. She founded and led a psychology club, helped organize the 13th International Research Conference on Education, Language and Literature, and created the student magazine Vitascope. These experiences strengthened her leadership, organizational, teamwork, and communication skills.
Natia has experience teaching English to young learners and is passionate about creating a warm, patient, and supportive learning environment. She believes that children learn best when they feel comfortable, curious and encouraged to explore and express themselves.
She has also participated in a European Solidarity Corps volunteering project in Hungary, gaining valuable experience in an international and multicultural environment. Her volunteering experience further developed her adaptability, interpersonal skills, sense of responsibility and ability to work collaboratively with people from different backgrounds.
Alongside teaching and volunteering, Natia has worked as a freelance translator primarily translating clinical trial protocols. This role allows her to combine her advanced English and linguistic skills with the medical knowledge she gained during her earlier studies.
Natia’s journey has always been closely connected to her love of languages and learning. She brings together her academic background, teaching and translation experience, international volunteering experience, and genuine curiosity to create an engaging and supportive environment in which young learners can develop their English, confidence and love of learning.
